Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms carefully, as they apply to all our
workshops, classes, and product orders.

Workshops & Classes Terms

 

1. Booking & Payment

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.

  • Bookings are non-transferable unless agreed in writing by Kimchi Club W5.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before the class date will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the class are non-refundable.

  • If you’re unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to someone else — just let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

3. Class Changes & Cancellations by Us

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a class if necessary (e.g., due to illness or low numbers). In this case, you’ll be offered a full refund or transfer to another date.

  • In the rare event of cancellation, we will notify you as soon as possible.

4. Allergies & Dietary Requirements

  • Please inform us at the time of booking about any allergies or dietary needs.

  • We do our best to accommodate, but we work in an environment where allergens are present and cannot guarantee allergen-free cooking.

5. Health & Safety

  • All participants must follow hygiene and safety guidelines during class.

  • Kimchi Club W5 is not responsible for injuries if safety instructions are not followed.

6. Age Policy

  • Unless otherwise stated, classes are open to those aged 16 and over.

  • For younger participants, please check class descriptions or contact us before booking.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Recipes and materials provided are for personal use only. Commercial use is not permitted without written consent.

8. Photography & Social Media

  • We may take photos during classes for our website and social media. If you prefer not to be photographed, just let us know at the start of the class.

9. Liability

  • Kimchi Club W5 is not liable for personal belongings brought to class.

  • Participation in classes is at your own risk.

 

Shipping & Product Terms

 

1. Order Processing

  • Kimchi Orders are dispatched twice a week: Mondays and Wednesdays.

  • Other products are dispatched the next day on next day delivery.

2. Delivery

  • UK nationwide delivery is via Royal Mail Tracked 24 or EVRI next day.

  • Tracking info will be sent when your order is dispatched.

3. Shipping Fees

  • Free local delivery on orders over £40.

  • Free UK shipping on orders over £50.

4. Returns & Refunds

  • Due to food safety, we cannot accept returns on edible products.

  • If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please email us within 24 hours with a photo, and we’ll arrange a refund or replacement.

5. Storage & Freshness

  • Refrigerate your kimchi and perishables immediately upon arrival.

  • We are not responsible for spoilage due to missed deliveries or delayed collection.

6. Incorrect Address & Missed Deliveries

  • Please check your delivery address carefully at checkout.

  • Kimchi Club W5 is not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

7. Product Information

  • Allergen information is provided on product labels and product pages.

  • As our products are small-batch and handmade, natural variations in taste, texture, and fermentation are part of their character.​
