  • Can I book a private session just for my family or friends?
Absolutely — we offer private group sessions tailored to your needs. Just contact us to arrange a date and theme.
  • Where are the classes held?
Our classes take place at Bini's home studio in Ealing, West London.
  • Is parking available nearby?
Yes, there is free parking available close to the venue most of the time. We’ll send you details with your booking confirmation.
  • Do I need to bring anything with me?
Nope! All ingredients, equipment, and aprons are provided. Just bring your enthusiasm and appetite— and maybe a container if you'd like to take extra food home.
  • Will I get a recipe booklet to take home?
Yes — every class includes printed recipe sheets with tips and step-by-step instructions so you can recreate the dishes at home with confidence.
  • Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes — our workshops make great gifts! Gift vouchers are available and can be used for any of our classes.
  • Will I get to take food home?
Yes! In most classes, you’ll enjoy a meal during the session and take home any extra portions (plus your homemade kimchi if it’s a kimchi workshop!).
  • How long does each class last?
Most of our classes are designed to last for 2.5 hours but expect to run for a little longer, depending on the workshop. Full timings are listed on each class page.
  • What age are your classes suitable for?
All the classes are for ages 16 and over. Most of them are perfect for friendly family event or special events. We have a pre-uni course specifically designed for youth of 16-20 years old — check the class description or email us if unsure.
  • Do you cater for food allergies?
We do our best to accommodate, but please note we work in a kitchen where allergens are present. Always let us know at booking so we can advise you.
  • Do you cater for vegetarians or vegans?
Yes, many of our dishes can be adapted. Please let us know about your dietary needs when you book so we can prepare accordingly. We also have a separate vegan Bibimbap and Japchae class where you can learn to make so many little vegan side dish components to build your own bibimbap and Japchae.
  • Are your classes suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! All our classes are designed to be friendly and hands-on, whether you’re a complete beginner or already love cooking Korean food.
  • Can I reschedule my class if I can't make it?
Yes — if you let us know at least 7 days before the class, we can offer a full refund or help you reschedule. If it’s less than 7 days, bookings are non-refundable, but you can transfer your place to a friend — just let us know at least 24 hours before.
  • My kimchi doesn't bubble, is it normal?
Yes, perfectly normal! In fact, bubbles are a sign of temperature being too high and fermentation is happening too quickly. In Korea, we have special fridges just for Kimchi that are kept at a temperature around just below and just above freezing: between -2 up to 2 degrees Celsius. Low temperature is key to slow fermentation and slow maturing of kimchi. Please try to keep your kimchi in the coldest place in your fridge to prevent premature fermentation
  • Does my kimchi still have good probiotics even when I see no bubbles?
Yes it does! The fermentation process is still happening without the bubbles and your kimchi is working hard to make good probiotics for your gut. Presence of bubbles depends on many factors like temperature and type of vegetable you use and the seasoning.
  • What’s the best way to tell if my kimchi is perfectly fermented?
It’s all about taste! Fresh kimchi is crisp and lightly tangy, while older kimchi becomes softer and more sour — some people love it at 2 weeks, others at 2 months. That’s why our kimchi tasting workshops are so special: you get to try it at 5 different stages!
  • How spicy is your kimchi?
Our kimchi has a gentle, medium heat — not too mild, not too fiery. If you're new to kimchi, it’s a great place to start!
  • Do you sell any other products?
Yes — we offer a small but growing range, including our Kimchi Recipe Booklet and sometimes seasonal sauces or pickles. Visit our Shop page to see what’s currently available.
  • Can I freeze kimchi?
You can, though it may slightly change the texture. It’s best enjoyed fresh or well-fermented from the fridge.
  • How should I store my kimchi?
Keep it sealed and refrigerated in the coldest part of your fridge at about 1 degree. In Korea, every household has a kimchi fridge, which is set at a specific temperature between -2 degrees Celsius to 2 degrees Celsius.
  • How long does your kimchi last?
Our kimchi is naturally fermented and keeps well in the fridge, but the type of cut cabbage kimchi that we sell can keep up to 3-4months maximum. Best taste for our kimchi is between 1 week to 1 month old. But some people let it mature longer so they can make kimchi stew with it or use in other cooking.
  • Do you offer subscriptions or regular deliveries?
We’re working on it! If you’d be interested in regular kimchi deliveries, let us know. We can arrange a schedule for you and set up a payment.
  • When will my order be dispatched?
We dispatch orders twice a week — on Mondays and Wednesdays. You’ll get tracking details once your order is on its way.
  • Do you deliver outside of London?
Yes! We offer UK nationwide delivery via Royal Mail at a flat rate of £2.99.
  • How will my kimchi get delivery and what should I do with it?
We pack your freshly made kimchi on the day of dispatch in air tight plastic pouches. One day taken for the delivery is actually a perfect amount of time for the fresh kimchi to settle in its taste and be ready to be refrigerated. As soon as you receive your order move the kimchi to a glass jar/container and put it in the coldest part of your fridge (usually lowest shelf just above the freezer). You an purchase my favourite jar to store my kimchi from our online shop. You can start eating the kimchi the next day or leave it for few more days to let probiotics count to reach optimal level.
  • How long are vouchers valid for?
All our gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • Can the recipient choose any class?
Yes — vouchers can be used towards any of our workshops, classes, or even products in our online shop.
  • Will I get a physical voucher or an e-voucher?
We send you e-voucher by email for you to redeem online to book classes or buy our products.
  • Can I personalise the voucher with a message?
Absolutely — there’s an option to add your own message when you purchase the voucher.
