Get ready for a fun, hands-on authentic street food experience at Kimchi Club W5 with our Bunshik Class! “Bunshik” refers to casual, affordable Korean dishes often enjoyed at street stalls or snack shops. In this class, we will learn to make three of the most iconic street food of all times, Kimbap, Tteokbokki and seafood pancake. These three dishes complement each other perfectly and they are the most popular dishes even in Korea. In this class, we’ll cover: *Kimbap : 2 types of most popular fillings, classic and Tuna. The famous Korean rolls, filled with colourful veggies and seasoned rice, rolled in roasted seaweed. We’ll show you how to get the perfect roll every time, plus tips for fun and tasty variations. We will experiment with variety of fillings in this class and you will make enough to take some home for your family, too. *Tteokbokki : Spicy, chewy rice cakes simmered in a sweet gochujang sauce. It’s the ultimate Korean comfort food that often paired with Kimbap. I will show you how to make the sauce from scratch and adjust the heat and depth to your taste. Never buy the low quality package sauces again! * Seafood pancake: This is one of the most frequently ordered dishes at Korean restaurants, and for a good reason. However, restaurant pancakes are full of batter, barely any filling. That's not how we make our pancakes at home. I will show you how you can whip up the most delicious, nutrient rich Korean pancakes in minutes and you will never want to order one at restaurants any more. You’ll be guided step-by-step through each recipe, learning about the essential ingredients, techniques, and how to recreate these favourites easily in your own kitchen. Bini will also prepare a hot broth soup to go with the food. You will have plenty to take home for your family to try all the dishes you create in the class. As with all our classes, all ingredients and cooking materials are provided and ready for you on the day. You’ll also take home printed recipe cards, covering everything you learned so you can confidently recreate the dishes at home and get perfect results every time.
